About us - what is xoetrope?
The name Xoetrope (pronounced zo'i-trop) is derived from Zoetrope the so-called 'wheel of life' an instrument in which figures on the inside of a rotating cylinder are made visible through slots and provide an illusion of animated motion. Just as this early animation device brought a sense of life to still images we, at Xoetrope, build tools to enable the software developer to create applications that bring a richer, more animated feel to every day applications. We transform simple content such as XML and spreadsheets into interactive web-enabled applications giving a superior end user experience. Links...
