XUI Zone - screenshots - Surveys

Surveys can be easily built with XUI. The examples below employ some non-standard widgets (progress bars etc...) but most of what is shown can be built with XUI.

This sample survey is designed to work in multiple languages. The user can select these languages dynamically. welcome.xml

The questions in the survey can be setup in an number of different ways. In this case the questions are coded directly in the XML p1.xml

Whereas in this case the questions are obtained from an add-on question manager class p2.xml

Finally the question layout can be configured via an included template. This makes it possible to define custom layouts for each question of for subcomponents. The layout shown in this beta test version isn't all that pretty but it can be customized using any of the normal XUI syntax. p4.xml template.xml

Data from the survey application is stored within the XUI model. Each session is given a unique identifier and time stamps are added for each response to help ensure quality data is obtained. Periodically data can be uploaded to a server or if on-line data can be transmitted as it is captured.

Coming soon... Start the survey application via Java WebStart!

The examples above were built using an XUI add-on shipped with Xoetrope's Carousel.
